Using SFP module GLC-FE-100LX with WS-C2960X-24TS-L

Hello!

Have a problem with one project. We need to use SFP module GLC-FE-100LX with WS-C2960X-24TS-L communicator. But, as I know, in SFP compatibility table we don't have matches between WS-C2960X-24TS-L and GLC-FE-100LX.

Anyway, is it possible to use this SFP module with this communicator? If it is possible, how can I configurate the communicator.

I have not look the matrix, since you already mentioned there is no compatable means, it will not work.

LX  you need to use Sinple Mode Fibre ( Yellow color normal)

Other test is, if you have ready stock and switch available :

1. Plug in the SFP on the Uplink see the port information is this recognised to start with, if not then it wil not be compatable.

2. if the device detects, not much to configure here, you can use as switch port L2 or L3 depends on requirement.
