WIndows Vista will not get an IP address from the Cisco 3560 DHCP. I have tried two NICs. Windows XP works fine and Linux has no problem getting an address from the 3560. If I change the port to a different vlan that has a linux DHCP server I have no problems either.

K a quick question, you have configured a static DHCP for Vista? if so, then you need to 01xx.xxxx.xxxx.xx in ur mac address for static dhcp.

Not sure what you are saying.
DHCP is not static. I have tried a static IP for the network and the machine is on the network fine but then set Vista to get its IP dynamically and I get no IP. Some testing shows that the router assigns an IP for my mac but Vista does not receive it.
