Vlan Based QoS

Hi all,

I have do the vlan based qos on multiple platform (3560, 3750, 4000, 4500) and found even i do not use "mls qos vlan-based" on switchport but only on the SVI, it also work fine for dcsp marking, any idea to this command? Or it is only use for ignore qos on the L2 physical interface?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I'm going to attempt to answer

Vlan-based qos is only in effect on l2 ports/vlans. If you have an svi attached to a l2 vlan and you put your configuration on the l3 svi, the svi always works on vlan-based and doesn't need this command.
