VLAN Configure

Hi, Expert

I need to configure a VLAN at switch SRW2024 v1.2. Normal trunking have to switch to switch, can I do trunking at one switch. Is mean I only have 1 24 port switch, want to do port 11 and port 21 for trunking.

Can I do that, if can how is the configure. Thanks.

Are you saying you wan't to set two ports on the same switch as a Trunk and connect them together?

If so, for what purpose?

Yes, you right. I just want to save money, if this work I no need to purchase another switch. And also want to learn this configuration.

I see, so this is just for learning?

I would recommend using packet tracer for learning if you cannot afford a second switch.

Connecting a cable back to back on the switch may cause a loop.

Thanks a lot. Now I am using the packet tracer for learning, but it look like different with the actual switch.  I mean those configure and command.
