Hi Experts
Pls can y share with me a success story in term of connecting 2 DCs together using fiber and perform a VLAN Stretching between the two DCs over trunk
in DC-1 we have 6500 non-VSS but in DC-2 we have 6500 VSS
pls advise about the servers connectivity, how it looks like since both in the same VLAN
thanks

Hi Ibrahim,
That is just a layer-2 extension across 2 data centers. The servers at each location would need to be in the same vlan and subnet. It doesn't matter if the devices are VSS or not, or you are using copper or fiber. You just need a trunk link between the 2 switches.

Hi Ibrahim,
If links are layer two trunks VTP will go accross is DC2 running on a differnet VTP domain ?
How do you plan to add the L2 link between the two sites ?
