Hi

I am a little confused on VLAN tagging on input and output interface.

In our company, clients has been connected to one switch (layer 2) and all ports are in VLAN 10. On this switch we have plugged one port to core switch as uplink for all clients and this port is trunk.

Core-Switch--

Uplink(trunk)
LAN-Switch

Downlink(VLAN10)

My doubt is,are all sent packet to client tagged with VLAN 10? That means,Does client receive packets with VLAN tag? If so, is there any solution that remove VLAN tag from packet on output interface to client?

In fact I want to remove tag from packet on output interface to client, because our clients do not handle tagged packets.

Thanks in advance
