je me demande si il existe d autre protocole de redondance que stpou meilleur que stp,et comment on peut partager la charge entre deux switch (le root et son backup)

s il y a des protocoles pour faire ça.

Hi,

STP is a loop protection mechanism not a redundancy one.To load-balance between 2 switches you can use PVST+ or RPVST+ on Cisco switches so different VLANs will take different paths or you can do bundling of ports and load-balance on src or dst mac or src-dst mac and if you want to bundle the ports as L3 ports you can balance on src-dst IP, the last way is to use L3 ports and use routing protocols to load balance.
