Voice and DATA VLAN on a Switch

Dear All,

If we configure a Voice and Data VLAn on a switch. And connect EX90 on voice VLAN and PCwith EX90 terminals. Than can we able to share a presenstation or data with EX90 or not?

HI Ali,

I'm not sure if i got your question right :-)

The presentation sharing is carried out with the help of dedicated cable (DVI - VGI Cable) between EX90 and PC.

With regards to data sharing it should be possible as long as you have intervlan routing enabled for these two vlans. i.e. EX90 ip address is able to talk to PC data vlan ip address.

Yes routing is enabled between data and voice vlan. You are right DVI-VGA cable will use to connect EX90 and PC. But now my concern is that can we able to transfer the data on voice vlan or not?

Hi Ali,

You should be able to transfer data between Voice and Data vlan as long of there is no ACL/firewalls restriction between these two subnet's.
