Voice vlan 1102 not working

Hi  I needs urgent support as voice vlan 1102 not working. The ip phones are alcatel and the switches are cisco 2960.The IP phones work fine with vlan 164 but when I migrate it to new extended vlan 1102 its stop working.The ip phones obtained the IP address.

1102 is extended vlan,. we need more information,

is the switch VTP Mode ?

can you able to share show run, show vlan ?

switch is in vtp transparent mode.IP Phones are working fine with any standard vlan range but not works with extended vlan

Actually I don't have updated configuration with me now.This is the layout

Dhcp server configured on windows server and I am attaching its dhcp configuration for your kind persual.

we need to have that information, problem may be : (until we know that information, we can only give blank triage issue, may fix issue.)

1. the VLAN was not created

2. VLAN Layer 3 interface not there

3. VLAN Layer 3 interface has ip-helper address ?

so many questions need to address and fix the issue

The information you required I will provide you but I don't have running config with me now.

All switches are in vtp transparent mode.
New vlan 1102 created on all switches.

the ip helper address command is already on svi of 1102 which is configured on core.

The ip phone are obtaining the ip address but not find tftp response

ok we have some good information here to start with, what IP address IP Phone getting ?

did the VLAN 1102 IP address can able to ping or reach TFTP Server to get the information for Phone to boot ?

Looks for me some routing issue with new VLAN IP address range here.

The IP Phones are working fine with existing vlan 164.

The new vlan 1102 I created the subnet 10.254.8.0/22 ....The gateway is configured on core switch....When I check the arp the IP Phone is obtaining IP Address from new subnet of vlan 1102 but I am not able to ping the ip phone from core where svi is created.

All switches are connected to with layer 2 connectivity.

If i put the port with the following configuration:

int gi 2/0/48

switchport access vlan 1102

I connect my laptop and laptop obtained the IP Address and I am able to ping the TFTP Server.I don't understand what I am missing.

IP Phone obtained IP as I defined from the DHCP Pool

10.254.8.2

I compared the configuration for vlan 164 with 1102 its clone of each other.

I don't have screenshots as I left the site but I have all information as I done all configuration by my self.

For testing I created new standard vlan 700 to check either its extended vlan issue ,the IP Phones works fine with vlan 700 as well.I also have the same remarks may be extended vlan are not compatible with alcatel but the client is saying they have the same setup on their other remote branch and extended vlan is working fine there.

This proves you have only extend vlan issue, at this stage we do not know what causing issue, until we do wireshark capture.

Not sure below command helps : worth adding this command in switch global config and let us know the outcome. ( I do not believe any difference, since you getting the IP address, vlan spanning to edge switches)

Alcatel-Lucent obtained ip from new vlan 1102 but not communicating with Server which is in different vlan and gives error no tftp response.Alcatel IP Phones work fine with standard vlan range but not working with extended vlan Kindly help

Can you ping the pbx from the L3 switch sourced from vlan 1102?
