Hi Srikant,

Very Good Question!!!

I think as far as you are keeping the two VDC in different VPC domains you can do it.

Havent tested it till now, but i think it will work.

Suppose Eth module 1 is in VDC1 and Eth Module2 is in VDC2.

Connect Eth1/1 to Eth2/1.

For testing first try forming VPC between this cable :

1.Create Po10 on VDC1,configure vpc 10 and Put Eth1/1 in it.

2. Create Po10 on VDC2, configure vpc 10 and  Put Eth2/1 in it

3. Make sure VDC1 is in VPC domain1 and VDC2 in VPC domain2. (This is vital)

4.Check if VPC is up.

If this works then i dont see any difficulty in configuring a double sided VPC.

Warm Regards,

Ameya Oke

Thanks for the prompt response Ameya. If its between physical box's its support Dual VPC and you should have two different vPC domains which I'm sure it works.

But Dual vPC between pairs of 2 different VDC, i doubt as i remember in one of the white paper it doesn't work.

But curious if Cisco released any new release notes and whether is this covered in it ?

Anyhow let me google some more time .. :-)
