hi,
forgive me for my poor english and happy new year all !!
here my problem :
LAN1==Server2003RDP1==1Cisco831----Internet----2Cisco831==Server2000RDP2==LAN2
I can use RDP between the two server without pb, I can use RDP between LAN2 and RDP1
but i can't use RDP between lan1 and RDP2.
I used the ping -f -l command to troobleshoot and i enter on the 1cisco the command:
crypto ipsec df-bit clear and then i can use rdp between lan1 and RDP2 but the rdp between
LAN2 and RDP1 now dont works (but the RDP between serveur works in the 2 direction).
i am looking for a "simple" description of what to do when their are MTU problem (because i think its
mtu problem here) in a L2L VPN. i mean do :
ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -l 1460 -f
and
ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -l 1450 -f
When the ping reply :
ip mtu XXXX (does it help ? on what interface ?)
or
ip tcp adjust-mss XXX (does it help ? on what interface ?)
I don't knows if i have been clear, thanks for help

On Cisco routers, use the ip mtu command to adjust the MTU size on the interface where the VPN is terminated. On ASA/PIX devices, use the mtu command to adjust the MTU size in global config mode. Following links may help you
