VRF with OSPF problem

Hi,

Our existing network is using OSPF per VLAN, but now want to change VRF with OSPF per VLAN, so I'm testing it on GNS3 with c2600 router, you can download the attached GNS3 of this lab file.

In R1, I have create 3 VRF (Office, Trader, Voice) with RD, then added them in each sub-interface with VLAN.

Finally, the last step to add OSPF into VRF, but it has error message said that "VRF specified does not match existing router", then I use "router ospf 1 vrf Office" to add "router-id 2.2.2.2" > "network 192.168.0.0 and network 10.0.0.0", then want to create "router ospf 2 vrf Trader", the "VRF specified does not match existing router" appear again, can someone to help me to fix this problem ?

Thanks

Hello

Sounds like the iOS you are using doesn't support VRF for ospf

Thanks

Sorry, wrong post.

But I have downloaded c7200 image to complete VRF setup, thx.

PE2_R3(config)#router ospf 1 vrf Cust-A
VRF specified does not match existing routerPE2_R3(config)#
PE2_R3(config)#
PE2_R3(config)#router ospf 10 vrf Cust-A
PE2_R3(config-router)#

Here is an example. Please check if you are using the same router-id as of default vrf ospf.

The reason is that OSPF process 1already exist with no VRF defined for it. The solution is to create another OSPF process like "router ospf 2 vrf office"
