VRRP supported switch with 9+1

Hi,

I need to setup one network with VRRP Active-Active for High Availability, hence I have selected the following switches

WS-C3560X-24T-S                  x1 (Core)

WS-C2960X-24TS-L                x9 (Edge)

I am doubtful whether this selected switch will support Full VRRP or not,

1. What do you mean with "Full" VRRP?
2. How do you want to achieve active/active HA with only one core-switch?

Hi,

I will deploy two L3 switches at the core location for VRRP, does the above switch supports VRRP or I need to buy any license etc, this is an IP base IOS Image switch

Ok, that will work. VRRP is supported on IPBase for the 3560-X. If there are no non-cisco devices in your core-layer, then you can also look at HSRP which is a little more flexible (if you need that).
