Hi!,
I'm designing a solution that requires VSS 1440 implementation. I have a Catalyst 6513 with line cards as follow:
WS-X6066-SLB-APC
WS-X6324-100FX-MM
WS-X6348-RJ-45
WS-X6548-GE-TX
WS-X6148-GE-TX
I don't want replace these modules, but these modules don't support DFC (A/B/C/XL); so the question is:
are these modules VSS (VS-S720-10GE-3C) compatibiles ??

Unfortunately no. You can only use WS-67xx modules in a VSS solution, see attached link for more details -

You will also need 10 gig cards to virtualize the 2 chassis together.
