Hi Team,
We are planning for up gradation of the our cisco 6509-E VSS chassis.
We have total 3 VSL links connected between both the switches. 2 links are on SUP720 and 1 link is on a ten gig card.
We would like to know when we upgrade the IOS and do a redundancy force-switchover from active chassis we want to know whether the whole chassis reloads are only sup reloads. Also we want to understand whether will there be any interruption to the traffic.
Thanks in advance..

Hi,
If you use ISSU, there should not be any network downtime, but I recommend doing it in a maintenance window just in case. Also, the whole chassis will be rebooted.
