Respected Seniors,
Good day, how are you? Could you please guide me regarding the VSS.
We have two Cisco 6807 as VSS with QUAD_SUP6T connected like
1/3/9 -> 2/3/9
1/3/10 -> 2/3/10
1/4/9 -> 2/4/9
1/4/10 -> 2/4/10
LED Status of Switch 1, SUP module 1: Status, System, Active and Power Mgmt LED (all) are Green -> Primary Active SUP.
LED Status of Switch 1, SUP module 2: Status, System, Power Mgmt LED are Green and Active LED is Orange -> Secondary SUP.
LED Status of Switch 2, SUP module 1: Status, System, Power Mgmt LED are Green and Active LED is Orange -> Tertiary SUP.
LED Status of Switch 2, SUP module 2: Status, System, Active and Power Mgmt LED (all) are Red-> Why this SUP is not active?
Below is the configuration for your review:

no cdp enable

interface TenGigabitEthernet2/1/32
no switchport

I have a query that why the switch 2, second module led's are red? Is there any configuration required for the second switch SUP module 2 as Quaternary?
We have rebooted the Primary switch and the VSS has successfully shifted to the Secondry core. Now the issue is current core switch primary SUP is active and the secondary SUP all LED are red (previously this was 4th sup now its second sup of primary switch). VSS secondary switch both sup are active (It looks to me that when the current primary switch SUP 1 will go down the 2nd sup will not be active and the secondary core switch will take over the role as a primary because both the SUP in the secondary switch are in active state).
I hope you will guide me in this regard,
Best Regards,
Asim Siddiqui

show module to see if its listed as unknown. https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/thread/73753
Try this maybe if you can, https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/24053-193.html#subtopic2a
show diagnostics module {1 | 2}
show environment status and show environment temperature commands in order to check the outputs related to environment conditions and look for any other failed components.
