thank you for your reply. your answer is for switch Supervisor Engine 7-E, Supervisor Engine 7L-E, and Catalyst 4500-X,but my question is for WS-C4510R+E with 8 supervisor.

VSS config should be the same for all the 4500 series switches regardless of the model.
