VTP Configuration!

Hi people,

I would like to know what are the best ways to find out which switch, in a vtp domain, within a LAN ,operates in server mode considering that the LAN infrastructure is new for us and we do not have too many knowledges about that particular LAN ?

you can use the "sh vtp status" command on IOS based switches. The output of this command will highlight the vtp mode that the switch is in and also the IP address of the device that it recieved the last VTP update from. You can trace the server from this.
