Could you please advise me if c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1.bin on WS-C3750V2-48PS would support VTP version 3

Looks like VTP VERSION 3 support on 3750 came in with IOS ver 12.2.52

VTP version 3 is available from 12.2(52)SE release onwards.
