Hello,

what do you have connected on Gi1/0/28 ? Quite literally the message would mean that there is something connected on Gi1/0/28 that runs a different VTP version...

sh vtp status in switch where log appear .

Hello,

try and set the CSW1.PLANT1 switch to VTP transparent mode and then back to server mode, that will reset the revision number.

i did it , but still receiving same logs. and revision number also still same.

Hello

Looks like these database are no sync correctly, Make sure the switches are connected via trunk port and if possible delete the vlan.dat file of one of the switches (delete flash:vlan.dat) and reload and then reapply the vtp config on that switch then vtp should synchronize.

Hi Manish

There may be two reasons:
1. The neighbor switch connected in Gi1/0/28 (You can confirm its name an management IP address with the show cdp nei gi1/0/28 detail command) it is in fact, running VTP version 1. Switches run VTP v2 by default.

2. The neighbor switch connected in Gi1/0/28 is not synchronized in VTP (this means, a different MD5 hash between VTP switches) for a variety of reasons:
* Different domain names
* Different password names
* Different VTP version configured
* Both configured as server, same revision number but different vlan database.

Please attach a "show vtp status" of both switches in order to identify any of these causes.

Why are both VTP servers?
Try creating a new VLAN on the switch you want to be the server to update the revision number so it can update the peer switch
