WAN termination at Layer 2+3 Switche (WS 3750)

Catalyst 3750 is Layer 2+3 switch, can we terminiate Internet WAN link on it and make it gefault gaterway of our Network?

Hello Adnan,

the answer is yes for the routing part.

But if this is your internet wan link and you need to do NAT be aware that C3750 cannot perform NAT (not supported).

The only multilayer switch that supports NAT is C6500.

So you probably need a router to be able to perform NAT
