Hello Group,
I just purchased a new in the box Cisco Switch model number WS-C3560G-48PS-S V09 and am wanting to upgrade the IOS in it, this switch currently has IOS version 12.2(50)SE5 installed. Does anyone have a file server with the different versions of Cisco IOS archived that they would be willing to share with me? Any help on this would be great appreciated.
Thank you,
Doug

Same answer to the other hundreds of people who come here to ask for switch firmware but do not have a valid Service Contract: Get the complete filename of what is currently being used and then enter it into a web browser.

What @Leo Laohoo said is correct, you can not get any file-sharing here, especially IOS images, it is not legal,
as he mentioned if this is Lab purpose for testing you can find many many files over google.com (if you search full name with .bin name)

I am new to Cisco and their products and this is my first Cisco product ever. I have no idea what the 'Cisco way' is or how their licensing or service contracts work. I find it odd that firmware/IOS files are not legal to share with another Cisco product owner. I purchased a Cisco switch and all I want to do is upgrade the firmware to the latest version, or the latest STABLE version. I just took the product out of the box today and just starting reading and searching for information about this switch and thought I would make this post asking for help. I know what version IOS is in the unit because the sticker on the back states it but I have no idea how to "get the complete filename of what is currently being used", again this is my first Cisco product and all I know is what the current version of firmware/IOS is. Sure I could try using a search engine to find the files but thats kinda hard to do if I don't know what the file name is I am looking for. Perhaps you guys would be so kind as to provided me with some helpful information and guidance? Again, I am new to Cisco products...

In the downloads section of the Cisco website I found IOS Software files available for download that are for model "Catalyst 3560V2-48PS Switch". Can anyone tell me if that is the exact same model as "WS-C3560G-48PS-S V09" ? I am not understanding the different letters and extensions on their models, I am assuming these are two different model switches since one has a "G" in the model and one does not.

A filename for the 3560 switch is "c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin". Enter that filename into a web browser.

Ok, thank you for that information, I did find that file available for download on the Cisco website. I see version 15 also available, does the model I have only support up to version 12.2.55-SE12 or will it also support the 15.0.2-SE versions also?

3560G can support 12.5(55)SE and/or 15.0(2)SE train.

In the downloads section of the Cisco website I found IOS Software files available for download that are under "Catalyst 3560V2-48PS Switch", can anyone tell me if "Catalyst 3560V2-48PS Switch" is the same as "WS-C3560G-48PS-S V09" ?

No they are not the same models.
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/282526527/type/280805680/release/15.0.2-SE11
try below :
ipbase : c3560-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin
ipservice : c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin

Understood, they are not the same models. You say they are different but I see "3560" and '48PS' in both and they are both 'Catalyst' so what actually makes them 'different' other than the obvious, such as the V2 and the V09? Also I clicked on the link you provided and it takes me to the exact same place I was before in the downloads section, the header/category shows the same "Catalyst 3560V2-48PS Switch". I need the correct files that are for my model switch and am trying to verify if the files in this download section under that header/category are for the model switch I have which is "WS-C3560G-48PS-S V09". Just trying to avoid writing the incorrect firmware/IOS to the wrong model switch.
Screenshot below of what I see when I clicked on the link you provided.

Officially, they are different sub-models (still part of the 3560 series family) but they do share the same firmware "cut".
Unofficially, IOS for the 3560v2 is compatible with the 3560/3560G switch sub-model.

Ok thank you for that bit of information. With what you said about the IOS for the 3560V2 is compatible with the 3560G, can you please tell me what the CORRECT IOS is for the 3560G? I really would feel better if I can locate the correct IOS that is specifically for the model I have (WS-C3560G-48PS-S V09) v.s. something that is just 'compatible'.
Thank you,
