Web server cluster load balancing

My server administrator has asked me to look into buying a module for the 6500 that load balances server clusters. I have never heard of any hardware and always done so through configuration. If anyone knows of a hardware based load balancer for the 6500 please let me know. Any thoughts on load balancing servers that re clustered would be helpfull. Thanks in advance.

There are a number of modules for the 6500 that will do this.

CSM - Content Switch Module

CSM-S - Content Switch Module with SSL daughtercard

ACE - Application Control Engine.

The ACE module is the newest module and probably has more future than the other modules.
