WebUI,telnet not working on Cisco 2960

hi...i have given a uplink to cisco 2960 switch which in turn is uplink to another switch(2960)..now my problem is that i m able to access the second switch(telnet,WebUI) but not the first switch...cannot guess wat might be the problem...bcoz if the second switch is working then it is recieving connection from first switch...wat shud i do?..help

First check the connection between the switch its configured properly and its passes all the traffic between the device and trunk settings established properly . It may be misconfiguration ie speed and mode.
