Weird CDP Issue

I'm noticing a weird CDP issue that I have never seen before and hopefully some one can point me in the right direction...

Switch7, when I do "show cdp ne" I see gi0/1 connected to Switch2 and gi0/2 connected to Switch3

Now when I do "show cdp ne" on Switch 2 gi0/1 and gi0/2 both show connected to Switch7 also Switch3 shows that it is connected to the gi0/1 port of Switch7. 

Any ideas?

Are these switches directly connected or there are some switches or L2 cloud between them? This issue is seen when there are other devices in the middle
