What are the advantages of using wildcard when EIGRP is configured

Good morning,

That benefit me use wildcard when publishing networks in EIGRP.

-router EIGRP (ASN)

-network 10.0.0.0 0.0.0.255

our

-router EIGRP (ASN)

-network 10.0.0.0 255.255.255.0
