Look at the "sh logs" to find any clues.

Would be nice if you can post the "sh version" too.

I believe these is whats make the cellular goes to radio power mode = off (based on logs). but whats causing the modem in HWIC goes down?

Pinoy pala.

Do you have any other routers exibiting similar behaviour?

The only fix is to disable/enable the port, I presume?

Have you tried upgrading the IOS?

The only solution i got is to reload the router. But i need to identify whats causing it. Is it maybe RSSI? or idle?

No, I don't think so.  Could be the following factors:

1.  IOS fault or bug;

2.  HWIC not properly insterted,

3.  Faulty HWIC; or

4.  Faulty slot.

Last few weeks our field engineer installed new router to one of my handled sites, and right now i'm still having the same issue.

So you have multiple hardware exibiting the same symptoms?

right now i'm handling 71 sites, and some areas where at the rural side, which means expected to get low signal in there. And most sites that are in the rural areas experience this symptoms.

IF what I'm reading is correct, that you have some sites where the  HWIC goes down/down then I'm now leaning towards an IOS bug.

You can either raise a Cisco TAC or upgrade the IOS of one of them (for testing).

I don't really have the experience to upgrade IOS. Can you help me with it? What are some requirements that i must do first to upgrade it.

IOS upgrade for Cisco routers and switches are not difficult (once you get the hang of it).

1.  Go to Cisco Download Software website.  If you have a valid Service Contract, you can download the IOS.

2.  Download the necessary IOS you want.

3.  IMPORTANT:  Compare the MD5 hash of the file against the one in the Cisco website.

4.  Download and install TFTPd32/TFTPd64.

5.  The command to copy the IOS BIN file to the appliance is:  copy tftp:///filename.bin flash:

You enter the above command in the router.

6.  Once copy is complete, it won't hurt to compare the MD5 hash against the Cisco website.  The command to display the MD5 hash from a Cisco router or switch is:  verify /md5 flash:IOS.bin

If i upgrade the IOS, all my configurations will be lost? or do i need to backup first?

Your configurations will not be lost.

It would be a good idea to backup the configs first before you perform the upgrade.

Is there other options than upgrading the IOS? I'm not good at this.
