Which load balancing should I use?

Hello,

I have a customer who has a small server room with several servers that were port channeled to an HP switch.  Each server has 4 connections going to the switch, except for one which has eight.  Recently that customers config was lost on their HP switch and it has been causing all sorts of problems on the network.  Right now I gave them a loaner Cisco switch that way I could at least log into the switch and see what is happening.  Currently the customer only has one connection from each server to the switch.  I'd like to create port channels for them, but I'm still pretty new at etherchannels.  What type of load balancing should I use for this customer?

It really depends on customer requirements and the capability of the switch.  Usually the default method it src-mac.  There are many other ways, here is a pretty awesome article on it:
