hi! the connection to the backplane is a virtual interface? sounds strange. are you sure about the bandwith? quite important .

I got my info from two Cisco engineers (one from TAC and the other is a Wireless Advanced Services) that it's 10Gb. It doesn't make any sense to go 20Gb when the WiSM2 is a single 5508. The stand-alone WLC 5508 can do 8 Gb, by the way.
What's wrong with Virtual Interface? It's the same as the WiSM of today. There are a number of four 1Gb virtual interfaces (per controller and not per blade).
