Wrong [Mode] button push?

I held the mode button wile powering on, until everything stopped blinking. Now the SYST light just keeps blinking. It looks like a pattern, but I don't seem to be able to discern it.

Just got it last night, used.

This is the first time I've used a real switch. I've played with DD-WRT and pfSense, but not much.

I guess I should also state that the reason for doing this... As I said, it's used, I can't get into it. Tried 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.207.208 that's on the label on the top.

What are you seeing on a terminal connected to the console port ?

Found the RJ45-DB9 cable, at used computer shop across town. Now to pull out an old laptop that has a serial port.

Is there a way to Ethernet into the console port?

You should have got a console cable along with the switch, what is the output you get on console terminal ?

Well, that would be nice, however I got it used... They don't always have all the parts.  My friends had the cable.

I just posted the output to acampbell. Now I have to find out how to hack it, and wipe it.

Catalyst 3560 Switch Getting Started Guide has lots of good stuff, but it dose not cover everything.

No, but I was able to reset it. "The switch now behaves like an unconfigured switch"

I'm trying to do Express Setup now. I don't see a guide on how to do set up in Terminal.
