Will there be any traffic interuption when we activate wrr queuing on a catalyst 6500 ?  We found by accident that it was never implemented on one box and we need to turn it on .  The ports are already configured just it was never activated with the "mls qos"  command.

Glen, I have our Cisco SE working to find that answer, and more.  (The more is QoS per port changes on an active port, and other QoS impact on other Cisco devices.)

So far, information I've received is there shouldn't be any major interruption, but that's not definitive yet.  Additionally, there might be some minor interruption (i.e. a few packets "in flight").

If I get any more info, I'll try to remember to post it here.

Thanks for the reply Joseph .  Just need to know in order to schedule changes, if it's disruptive then it will have to be  a night change versus one done during the day.  Appreciate your reply.

Yup - exactly the reason I'm also pursuing this.
