I know these compact switches can do many things, I finally unloaded enough old tech to pay for 75% of my new switch, rest I will pay off in next 3 weeks, since I have to budget. That said I grabbed up one of the Multigig compact models WS-3560CX-8XPD-S
Trying to understand the licensing model of these, when I went in to do a basic config, and run some commands, I get this below when I do a show license.
C3560CX#show license
Index 1 Feature: ipservices
Period left: 12 weeks 6 days
License Type: Evaluation
License State: Active, Not in Use, EULA not accepted
License Priority: None
License Count: Non-Counted
Do they give you ipservices as a temp license eval. I thought it was going to be ipbase, and when I first powered it up I wasn't in the console to see the EULA, so I am not sure if I go in and accept this does it turn ipservices on, or is that just an eval then it will revert to only ipbase features?
Any help would be great thank you.

From what I understand and what Cisco told us, you can use IP services license permanently on these switches even if you purchased them with IP base license. Once you apply the IP services license, it should show you something like this:
This is from a 3560CX switch.
test#sh license
Index 1 Feature: ipservices
Period left: Life time
License Type: PermanentRightToUse
License State: Active, In Use
License Priority: High
License Count: Non-Counted
Index 2 Feature: ipbase
Period left: 0 minute 0 second

Can you please confirm that it is ok for it to show PermanentRightToUse and
not just Permanent...why is it saying Permanent with RightToUse?
Please some advice on this as I am in the same fix where I am not happy with the unit saying PermanentRightToUse instead of Permanent as I have always seen Permanent only for ipservices, even after upgrade.
