WS-C3560X-48T-L I need router command (which IOS)

Hi,

I have Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560X-48T-L

The previous IOS version was c3560e-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11

and some told me to replace it with Universal Image, I installed c3560e-universalk9-mz.150-1.SE.bin

but I got the same issue, that router command is not supported

which IOS I can use with this model to support dynamic routing ?

Hi there,

If you are using the universal image but dynamic routing is still not available to you, then you are probably using either a LAN Base of IP Base image. you need an IP Services license to enable dynamic routing protocols.

on a side note, 'show lic det' will show you which license you currently have.

what exact IOS I can use to load the full features of 3560 !?

You have the correct version of IOS, you just need to enable the IP Services license.

You could active the Right-To-Use license which would enable it for 8 weeks. During this time you will need to make efforts to purchase an IP Services license for your switch.

Issue the command:

license right-to-use activate ipservices all acceptEULA

it is working now by command

license boot level ipservices

if the 60 days finish, will it be automatically returned to ipbase license, or I have to do it manually ?

will there be bandwidth limitation in ipservices license ?

Hello,

the evaluation license is fully functional, there are no bandwidth restrictions.

After your evaluation period expires, at the next reload the switch image will return to its default license. You need to do that manually.
