Hi everybody,
For about 2 weeks ago, I noted (using Cisco Configuration Professional) that one of the internal fans of the - Cisco ws-c3750x-12-e had stopped working. When I restarted the device, it started working again.
Today, we were able to browse the Internet normally in the morning, suddenly the switch stopped working. When I went to check, I noticed that none of the fan was working on this switch and it was not coming up.
Please advice what could be the problem of this and how can i resolve this?

Kuku,
If your switch is still under warranty then raise a hardware issue with Cisco.
If it is not then you will need to source a fan module

If your switch is 3750X, they came with 2 fans. When you are standing in the back of the switch, if the fan is working correctly you will see a green light at the left corner of the each fan. Also, if you issue "sh env fan" it will tell you if either of the fan is ok or not.

3750X-12S is covered under 1-year warranty and/or Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty.
Don't waste any time. Contact Cisco TAC and get the appliance RMA-ed.
