I'm sure it's documented somewhere.  (You'll also find implications of this, such as documentation that when you mix 3750 or 3750G with 3750E or 3750-X, some of the stack technology improvements will be given up to work with the former technology.  Or, if you read up on stack elections, you find "better" feature images have priority over "lessor" feature images when selecting the stack master.)  Don't have at hand one specific reference.

BTW I've also managed both mixed hardware 3750 stacks, and 3750 stacks with different feature licenses - both work fine.

Another potential "gotcha", the 3750G-12S provides SDM templates that only work with that model.  If you want to use this model with any other 3750, you need to not use the model specific SDM templates.

Yes, you can as long as both switches are running the same IOS version and license.

As Reza already noted, yes you can, in fact, you can even mix different series of 3750, i.e. you could stack a 3750, 3750G, 3750E and 3750-X.

Reza also mentions you need to run the same IOS version and license.  Actually you can mix versions and feature licenses.  Mixing versions is best avoided, as running the same IOS version insures the same stack protocol version.  Mixing license versions generally works fine, although a stack could lose features if a stack member fails that provides the "better" feature package.

thank you for your reply,

is there a document or a datasheet for reference?
