WS-C4500X-32 fan error

Required number of fan trays with the same airflow type Front to Back, do not exist, replace or chassis will power down in 30sec,

All 5 fans is brand new,

Any idea how to initialize the switch to accept the new fans, I can go into rom mode, but not a lot of helpful commands, switch is just idling

Hi, one of the fire canisters went off in the the server room via dust particles, the gas released then crystalized on the fans which burnt out the 5 fans, bought exact new one but not liking it at all,

fans should just come on when its booted when connected correctly , I have never had to turn then on by cli , your canister could have done a lot more damage you cant see if it manages to break 5 fans at once , may need an RMA

thanks for input, the 3 out of 5 fans melted and the switch went off like in a safe mode,

got new ones but no luck, think the board got damaged.

when device is under support with your reseller through Cisco they will replace a hardware failure free of charge but it must be supported first , if not its going to be an expensive replacement
