Hi all
I have a problem with an WS-C4948E and Cisco Network Assistant.
Device Manager isn´t working!...is there an additional File inside flash or boot flash needed ?
Any Idea?
Cheers

Hi
its in the supported list for can 6.0 and above , have you tried multiple browsers and another pc just to rule out a local issue rather than the switch ?

Hi,
yes i tried serveral Browsers and worstations, but unfortunately without success!
I know that it is in the supported list, and in contrast to CNA 6.3 the device will be discovered!
But if I choose the device Manager from CNA surface i only get the Basic Catalyst landing page, and not the device Manager as expected.!

whats the software version on the 4948 and its only this platform that's effected yes ? your other devices are working fine on same can version , it could be the switch software

On delivery it was an 15.0.2-SG7. But it is already updated to 15.1.2-SG7 !!! (IP BASE W/O CRYPTO).
Could it be a general IP-Base Problem?
Other devices are not affected, but this 4948E is my only device of this type.
the others are 3750 and 4506!

wouldn't have thought it was the license as it should operate on any license , I am going to check the release note for that version 15.1.2-SG7 to see if there are any open bugs for it operating with CNA , did you have the same problem on the delivered ios version ?

yes it was the same.
that was the reason i tried the update.

ok so its not the software on the switch
you have tested another pc and different browsers etc , that only leaves the actual version of CNA is not working correctly with the 4948 or the platform itself does not work with CNA even though doc says it does
your not left with many options here but to raise it with Cisco and ask TAC to get one of the developers to take a look
Looks like a known issue as others having same problem with 4948s with cna
