Hi all,
our customer is experiencing a sudden high failure rate. The WS-X4148-RJ45V card is quite old. Is it a normal death of the electronic components ?
Any suggestion ?
Thanks
Alberto

Hi,
I'm sorry, but could you explain as to what kind of high failure rate are you observing? Any error messages and any impact?
If you could let us know
- the error messages that you are observing, it would be helpful.
- since when have you been facing such issues?
- Serial no of the line card in subject
Thank you!
Cheers!

Hi ,
see the attachment file for the info you have requested.(serial number and error log)
For failure rate I mean that 8-port group is faulty.
Recently we replaced about 2 cards per month. It seems that the faulty cards per month is increasing .
POE users are Cisco IP Phones and access points.
Thank you very much.
Regards
Alberto
