I have a 1080p 12x Precision HD camera from a C20 codec which is not responding despite its power light being on. There is no video output - the PIP on my home monitor is blank. I have also tried feeding the camera's HDMI output straight to a monitor and there is nothing. It also does not respond to remote control pan and tilt commands. I have tried another identical camera with the codec and that works fine so I know it's not the C20 itself. I have also tried rolling back the software from version 7 to version 6 but that didn't solve it. I'm assuming the camera has developed a hardware fault, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I think you have to make R.M.A for other experiences...
Do you have an external power supply ?

Hi
The camera is powered from the C20 codec. I forgot to mention that the camera is out of warranty, so any recommendations for a company that does CISCO repairs in the UK would be welcome.

I'm sorry I'm not in the UK, sure someone knows.
try to connect an external power supply, in case turn on (camera) .
if not light, repair or contact your service provider's cisco.
if the camera turn on, again connect the camera cable to the codec.
if it's any help
Bye
