1700MXP FIPS MODE ISSUE

Planning to enable FIPS mode on all my MXPs.

Tried it on my bench and now I am unable to browse using IE 11 on either HTTP or HTTPS when it's enabled ???

Any ideas ???

It's highly likely that you have TLS1.0 disabled in your browser.

1. Go to Tools | Internet Options.
2. Go to the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll down to the Security settings.
4. Make sure that the following check boxes are selected: Use SSL 2.0, Use SSL 3.0, and Use TLS 1.0.
5. Click Apply.
6. Click OK

Note: The 1700s reach their Last Date of Support on 28 February 2017, so I'd recommend that you consider replacing them with something more current.

Thank you ... SSL 2.0 and 3.0 are not enabled on our browser.  TLS 1.0 is.

We don't control browser settings.  Will see what we can do to fix it.

Yes we are in the process of life cycle replacement project to upgrade all our systems to DX models.
