Automatic Preview on SX80

Hello!

We are trying to configure Cisco TelePresence SX80 with the TC7.3.4 software.

Our current setup is two video projectors and a monitor, controlled with a Crestron DMPS-300C and the Touch 10 touchpanel.

Currently when we have turned everything on, all of the screens (projectors and monitor) are empty (The default blue background, 1^st projector shows the clock). We can preview content by using the touchpanel. The preview ends, when we call someone.

We would like to configure the Telepresence software to automatically show a preview of a specific connector on startup, keep it on when calling and when the call is ended, the preview sticks (or reverts to preview, if the content was shared during a call).

Is there a configuration setting in the TC7.3.4 software that can accomplish this?

Typically it's not possible to preview content automatically on startup or when initiating a call, as they both require user interaction.  However, if the SX80 isn't already receiving video from the content source, content could be displayed automatically under certain circumstances, refer to the "Video Input Connector PresentationSelection" option in the SX80 TC7.3 Admin Guide on pg 116.  With CE8 you have slightly different options, with the input set to Desktop and when it receives a video signal the SX80 will automatically preview/share content when in and out of a call, refer to the same option in the SX80 CE8.2 Admin Guide on pg 154.
