Does anybody know the best way to submit feature requests to CISCO that will give it a good chance of being looked at/evaluated?
I have a couple of requests in regards to CMR Hybrid that we just deployed:
1. Enable Clearpath FEC/LTRF on SIP to the WebEX cloud
2. Enable TMS to book only point to point between TP systems and WebEx that only have one booked TP endpoint that needs to connect to the WebEX cloud (and thus not using up an MCU video port if no other TP video system is going to use it)
thanks!

Get in touch with your AM and ask them help to submit a PER (Product Enhancement Request)

As Jamie mentions, contact your Cisco Account Manager.
Regarding #2, have you considered setting TMS to allow point-to-point calls when it's only 2 partciipants, but still escalate it to a conference bridge if it's a multi-point call. See "External MCU Usage in Routing" under Administrative Tools > Configuration > Conference Settings > Advanced.

Hi Patrick,
thanks for the reply. My TMS is only set to resort to MCU usage if it's more than point to point (the setting you mentioned), this unfortunately does not affect CMR Hybrid booked conferences if there is only one TP endpoint. The TMS still creates a room on the MCU and instructs the MCU to dial out that room via SIP to WebEX cloud anyway (then the TMS instructs the MCU to dial the locally booked TP system).

Oh, that's my bad, I had CMR Cloud on the brain when I replied. Yeah, Hybrid will always resort to use on-premise conference resources.

No prob, I just don't understand why it needs to ALWAYS use on-prem MCU if there is only 1 TP endpoint involved. It's a serious waste of my video ports. If I have 5 WebEX/Cloud CMR meetings using TP endpoints (one for each meeting)in my building and I KNOW there will be no other SIP or H.323 systems joining any of those meetings, what is the point of using the MCU in that circumstance?

Yea, especially if in CMR people can dial in directly ;-)
But I guess thats what you get if you want hybrid :-O
Could picture that the intention is to use your own resources and
at least from the Cisco/webex site they know how to handle that call,
no surprises by strange endpoints codecs, no trouble with "but now I wanted to escalated it as a college needed to join", ...
And as you initially posted, feel free to generate a feature request for it.

For clarification, PDI and TAC are separate groups, and neither of us are the right point of contact for submitting a PER, as explained before, you need to reach out to your SE/AM for that.
