Bug On C-Series and SX20 Endpoints

Hi,

I'm expreiencing an issue or bug on C-series endpoints and mostly on SX20 endpoints.

Everytime you press the menu button on the TRC5 remote control it will also control the volume to down.

Problem was encountered on TC5.1.x. I already tried upgrading the firmware from TC5.1.7 to TC5.1.8 but issue was not resolved.

Also we noticed that sharing  PC presentation from SX20 endpoints running on these versions can't receive the presentation on the MXP endpoint running F8.x or F9.x.

Anyone who experienced same issues?

Hi Acevirgil.

This sounds like you have low battery in your TRC remote.

Try to replace the batteries and you will see that the "bug" go away.

In earlier codecs Cisco had a warning for low battery displayed on the screen(MXP3000 and previous), this feature is not available in C-series and new SX series codecs. Some times the codec interprets the "low battery" message by lowering the volume.

Please get back to us with the result with trying new batteries in your remote
