C series - is Auto Answer count down possible ?

Hi ,

we have a request from a customer to have a countdown when the call will auto answer in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....

is this even possible ? (i dont think so but just have to be sure, specially with this customer)

Yes Melanie,

You're correct. There is no such feature available as of now. You can contact your Cisco Accounts Manager and they would help you to open a feature request.

The feature request will be considered by the development team and if possible will be implemented in the future releases. Hope this answers your question. If yes, please mark the thread resolved.

Hi

Does he want a visible count down or a delay? I beleive you can setup a delay for the auto answer but i'm not 100% sure. However i have never heard of a count down for autoanswer on the c series. So i'm oretty sure the answer is no..

Hi Melanie,

As Magnus mentioned, it is possible to set the Auto Answer Delay. You can use the command below:

xConfiguration Conference 1 AutoAnswer Delay: 0

But there is no visible countdown which he would be able to see on the screen.

yes we have told them about the delay but they were asking for some sort of visible prompt on the system.
