CE endpoints - xcommand video layout - custom?

I found in the API guide the following command to adjust local and remote layout:

xcommand video Layout LayoutFamily set target: local layoutfamily: overlay

Apparently the layoutfamily also allows the parameter "custom" followed by "CustomLayoutName:" with the name of the custom template.

But I could not find any API command to create the custom template.

Where is this documented?

I found this command already existed in the TC version as "xCommand Video PictureLayoutSet".
But I could not find how to create a custom layout and adjust the layout...

I have seen this too, but as it's not listed in the current Admin Guide, it's likely something that is still in development and hasn't fully made it to production yet.  I'm still eagerly awaiting some of the Video Layout compositing functionality that was available in the old TC software to find its way back to the CE code.  It's slowly getting there, but nowhere near as functional as TC was yet.
