Hi,
Can we register C20 Codec to Cisco Call Manager 10.5.x since I was trying to look in Add Phone and getting options as "Cisco Telepresence Profile 42(C20)" and " Cisco Telepresence Quick Set C20"?
Which one we need to select and then, do the configuration.
I can find other CodecC40/C60/C90 in Call Manager.
Please advise.

They are different products, although the Profile systems use the C20 at it's codec, they might have different options available to them than a basic C20. So it's best to use the device that matches what you have.
As far as a specific version, I don't have the answer, usually best to run the most recent version of codec software, unless there are bugs or concerns with it that might prevent you from doing so.

You can find the C20 itself under "Cisco TelePresence Quick Set C20" in the device list.

Hi Patrick,
thanks for reply.
Yes I can find the same while in Add Phone List.
Is adding Quick Set C20 different from Profile 42 (C20)?
Also, do we need to have some specific version of C20 to get it registered to CUCM10.5?

I did not compare the settings of the profile and the pure c20 but I can picture they are the same. But I agree with Patrick, why use something different if you have the right option on board ;-)
You can upload the cop.sng sign to your cucm and set the software as the to be used image, then your c20 software will be upgraded by cucm to the version you uploaded&set.
