Cisco C90 with Sony BRC-Z700 camera

Hi

We are running a Cisco C90 on firmware TC5.1.8. We want to use a Sony BRC-Z700 camera with the optional BRBK-HSD1 card via HD-SDI with the codec but the image is squashed and the codec reports the received resolution as 1920x520 @49hz. The Sony camera displays fine on other equipment and the codec displays images from the Precision HD1080p camera with no problem.

Has anyone else tried to use a BRC-Z700 with a C Series codec? Any ideas what is causing the issue?

Did you check with sony if there are options to select different resolutions.

Often thats worth trying. Is it possible to connect the cam via HDMI as well, how are the results there?

Did you try TC6.3, just to see if the behavior is different?

Did not find any configuration options for the hdsdi inputs, but maybe there are some,

might be worth checking out in the manual as well.

If you think you can rule out the Sony cam and you have a valid service contract you

should consider asking TAC.
