CISCO MEETING SERVER

Hi Team,

We are going to designe a solution with CMS, TMS and CUCM and Video endpoints MX and DX series.

We want to enable WebRTC for CMS server and enable internet calls also.

1. Can we cohost the B2B , WebRTC and MRA on same EXP-E and EXP-C server.

2. How to schedule the meeting that can use WebRTC from internet and users can get a link to join the  meeting.

Yes, you can run B2B, WebRTC, and MRA on the same Expressway.  For the most recent list of services that can be run together on the same Expressway server or cluster, refer to the Expressway admin guides, see the "Services That Can Be Hosted Together".

When you schedule a CMS conference, TMS will add the WebRTC link to the conference invite email, which you can then forward to any participants that would need it.

Hi Patrick

Need details on the DNS SRV record and certificate details.

We want to enable basic call bridge and WebRTC.

(When you schedule a CMS conference, TMS will add the WebRTC link to the conference invite email, which you can then forward to any participants that would need it.)

pls suggest how the meeting invite using TMS will be sent obver mail.Does it require TMSXE.

Pls share any docs if available.

Take a look at the Expressway Configuration Guides, they contain all the information regarding SRV records as well as certificates.  There is a single cluster creation guide that you should review first, and then take a look at the other varius guides for the specific items you want to enable.

  • Cluster Creation
  • Basic Configuration
  • Mobile and Remote Access
  • Meeting Server

A confirmation email will be sent to the scheduler of the conference, regardless of how the conference was scheduled in TMS: full scheduler, Smart Scheduler, Outlook (via TMSXE).  The confirmation email will contain a meeting invite you then send out to participants.  The confirmation email from TMS will be sent via SMTP, so whatever email service you use, for example Microsoft Exchange or Google.

Hi patrick,

is it possible to deploy webrtc and B2B for cms, without cucm ? i just want webrtc can be accessed from outside, then can call spark or other domain or public ip (h323)

regards,

ahmed

You can deploy CMS with Expressway-C/E, there is no requirement for CUCM.

What is wrong with this deployment
CMS + Expressway C + DX80s for internal video calls HQ to Branches? I am new to deployments and this is what i can come up with for a client that wants to deploy DX80s for their executives.

Can you tell us more about your deployment, what you're trying to do?
