Hi all ,
My customer just bought Cisco Sparkboard and i just have some questions.
- Can Sparkboard Call to Internal Endpoint using SIP Address ? such as 1001@10.1.1.1
- In case Sparkboard can only call from internet can i use it to call to internet endpoint through expressway ?
- I read some material about Cisco Spark hybrid Call Service deployment, can this deployment apply to cisco sparkboard ?
Bottom line is my customer wants to use Cisco Sparkboard to call internal endpoint whether polycom or Cisco , Can anyone share an easiest solution ?
Thanks

Tawat,
Out of the box, the Spark Board cannot call on-premise endpoints. The Spark Board is and always will be a cloud only device.
They would need to deploy an Expressway or VCS set on their local network and enable the hybrid call connector to be able to call on-premise endpoints.

Hi Justin ,
it's really confusing me with calling capability for cisco sparkboard from the youtube link below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNOABQoUDxI
at 30:00 , it's said clearly that sparkboard can be use to calling internal endpoint , so i'm really not sure why cisco make it so hard for just only internal calling.
but thanks for your info anyway.

Take a look at the following guides:
Make a Call from Cisco Spark Board
Determine Your Cisco Spark Calling Capabilities
Although the Spark Board isn't listed in the second link, it is a Spark registered endpoint, so the same capabilities should apply, though I'm not 100% sure. Regardless of the Spark endpoint, you'll need to dial via SIP.
