Hi Kuku,

C90 is an integrator solution for your conference rooms. This codec is powerful and capable of compositing & matrix switching multiple streams at a time. It can be used if you would like to integrate different video or audio or both streams and combine them before they are presented to the displays. For Bill Of Materials (BOM), please reach out to your Cisco Accounts Manager as this is not the correct platform. Lastly to answer your question, Yes, the C90 can be used to view the meeting on a 3 screen. It is expandable to have 4 screens simulateneously.

two on HDMI and two on DVI output ports (fulfill your requirement or 3 screens) and One Composite Output

supporting resultion upto 1920 x 1080@60 Hz (1080p60) on DVi and HDMI ports

I think this has satisfied my concern that this is a full telepresence solution that can support up to 5 screens.

I have got the BoM from Cisco(find below)..

please can anyone tell me the function of the multisite option that cisco included in this BoM

Hi Kuku,

Multisite refers to the inbuilt MCU (Mutlipoint Control Unit) which allows you to host upto 3 calls at a time. It is the capability to send and receive multiple streams.

Once you have the Multisite activated the endpoint could have total 4 participants (3+itself). Hope that answers your question.

thanks for your replies.

The solution is like this,we want to place the 3 screens in different rooms, so also we are going to need a camera in each room with microphone.

can this be achieved with the codec 90? How?

if yes, that means i will need spare cameras and mic for the two other rooms. please what is the part number for this spare camera and microphones.

Hi Kuku,

you can do as per the desired setup however the distance would matter,(between the rooms and the codec)

for the parts id

camera :CTS-PHD-1080P12XS=  12x or  CTS-PHD1080P4XS1  4x

Microphone xlr :CTS-MIC-OMNIDIR=

the camera will need to be daisy chained.

Dear sir/ma,

I learnt from the cisco team that codec 90(CTS-C90-K9) does not come with neither a camera nor a microphone and as you guys have confirmed to me above.

Though i have order the codec 90 and he has not come with a camera and a microphone.

I want a fully functional telepresence solution that requires a camera and a microphone.

if i want to order a spare camera and microphone with this codec 90 (CTS-C90-K9) what will be the part numbers of the spare camera and the spare microphone.
